Chawner
Grey & Co. is a small,
friendly, solicitors practice dealing mainly with
property, probate and private client matters. Based
in Weston-super-Mare, but with clients in all parts
of the country. We are dedicated to building long
lasting client relationships by providing excellent
service.
Tony Roost
LLB (Hons)(Partner) Tony qualified as a solicitor in
1976 after an early career in the Magistrates’ Courts
system, and for the last 20 years has specialised in
Trusts and Estates work including Wills and Tax Planning,
Administration of Estates under Probate or Powers of
Attorney. He also specialises in Court of Protection
cases. Tony is a member of SFE
(Solicitors for the Elderly) and
on the Court of Protection’s Panel of External

Tim Hannah (Partner) Tim qualified as a solicitor in
1982 having trained with Grey & Co. He has experience
in a wide range of legal disciplines, since 1993 specialising
in both Commercial and Residential Property work.

Jim ChaplinA.
Inst. L. Ex Jim has worked as a Conveyancing Clerk since
1963 in the Weston area, joining Chawner Grey and
Co in 1996. He has extensive experience in
all aspects of property work, in which he continues
to specialise. Jim is now an Associate member of
the Institute of Legal Executives.

Chris Press F. Inst.
L. Ex Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
He has worked in Residential Conveyancing for many
years, originally in Bristol, before he joined us
in 1999. Apart from the sale and purchase of houses
and flats, Chris specialises in Equity Release Mortgages
and has experience in creating Leasehold Flat Schemes.

Marcia Hobbs Marcia joined us in 1990 and
specialises in Wills, Probate and elderly clients,
including Powers of Attorney. She has a long association

Kay Dawson Kay qualified as a Barrister in 2003
and as a Solicitor in August 2009. She has worked for
us since 2007. Kay specialises in Trusts and Estate work,
including Wills, Tax Planning, Estate Administration,
